AIA Group Limited Employee Review

Bureaucratic and lack of work life balance

The people overall are nice. However, poor management structure making the environment very political and bureaucratic. Everyone seemed to be money driven. The hardest part of the job is the lack of work life balance and good employee healthcare and benefits. The company seemed to seek profits off from its own employees by selling its own products and mandate employees to purchase 5% of the salary for MPF.

Pros

Free promotional items such as cups/t-shirts/cupcakes

Cons

Long hours with lack of rewards

A good company for work

A lead insurance company in Asia-Pacific area with a stable increase and good strategy. Provided an average benefit in the market. Good workplace culture where everyone contributes for it.

Structured Corporate Environment

Management is very approachable, the work is clearly segmented across departments and the hours are reasonable. The company has an accessible gym, the benefits are within the industry average.

Bad cultures

Bad cultures and team head with no management skills. She didn't care of her team and made lots of gossips during the day. Waste people's valuable time to listen her gossips.
