Revolving door of senior management resulting in ever changing strategy and direction. Aggressive and oppressive culture with no regard to people’s work life balance.
Oppressive environment and aggressive management culture
I have been with the company for 8 years. I've seen strong leadership and subject matter expertise leave the company since the existing CEO took over. Increased offshoring and near-shoring without proper due diligence. Significant operational inefficiencies. Company's actions are opposite of what they preach.
The workplace where I worked in culture was amazing. BNP Paribas & Teb always supported the stuff in every possible way. It was a huge chance to work there for me The most enjoyable part of my job was that diversity of our expertise area
It is difficult to write an interview when you have only been in one department/division of a firm. However, BNP is a good place to work. Given it is a French bank, the atmosphere is less intense. Also, they are a flat organization--not too many hierarchy hurdles. Senior managers are very accessible. The benefits are good and the vacation days generous.
Work life balance is not encouraged enough from snr mgmt
Great place to work. People are friendly and management works with you to make the process better. BNP is well organized and maintains the highest quality of work life balance.
Hours are long and resources are short, so there's no work /life balance. Pay is a bit lower than most other financial institutions but the vacation schedule is very generous. Management has become more bureaucratic and focused on collaboration, which means less autonomy and less decision-making capabilities for middle managers.
employees stretched thin with work
Very good salary. Met some nice people but zero progression prospects. OK for a temporary job. monotonous and boring no variety in work at all. Very rapid turnover of staff and no formal training
No development very boring
