I enjoyed working with Cathay Pacific Airways. The multicultural work environment was a very fun place to work. Most of the senior crew member are very knowledgeable and willing share their experience.
Shift on holiday season
The culture, salary, work load, lifestyle of this job have become more and more discouraging over the past decade. With covid hitting hard on the aviation industry, salary level is at rock bottom comparing to regular F&B or CS jobs. The insufficient manpower per flight means you'll be responsible for the work load of multiple categories staff, while the wage of new joiners is far from enough for local rent. The job didn't pay well before, but I was there for the travelling experience, which was also made impossible these days.
Everyone at the company are friendly, supportive and willing to share their knowledge to accomplish goals together. Also it would be a diverse environment where you could frequently communicate with aviation experts from all over the network.
Learnt a lot about working with different people and meeting people from all walks of lives. Well traveled around the world giving me great exposures to about lives, food, history, arts, music, culture and people...
Fun and relaxed life style.
Facing jetlag and odd hours of sleep.
Working at Cathay Pacific is all about relationships and building trust with colleagues and people in different departments. Employees are expected to be proactive and innovative and come up with initiatives to benefit the company and its people.
- three meeting everyday. - prolong meeting and discussion that you may have time to exercise what right to do. - senior management wish to propel and improve the company operation, however, due to inexperience staff, action taken before a comprehensive strategy studied.

Great working environment and culture. They provide excellent training for safety as well as customer service It was a great experience as I get to learn more about different cultures, nationalities, and I was able to visit many places for the first time.
A friendly place to work for. They do have state-of-art management technology and the question is not just to survive but to get better. Challenging i
A friendly place to work with. As management, the hardest part is to maintain current standard and ti continuously seek for improvement, just as to be competitive in the industry.
I love the multicultural community that Cathay Pacific has. Starting from more than ten nationalities of the flight attendants that the company hires, we learned how to blend in and respect other cultures from the first day of the training. Living in Hong Kong was also a fun and learning experience, as well as the great opportunity to see the world while working. As a young graduate from college, the company had helped to shape me up with a good discipline, systematic work and service mind.
a great opportunity to see the world
hard to keep up with long-project schedule, (e.g. persuing higher education while working)
