Employees are given a flexibility regarding work timings, however, putting client needs at first, the flexibility is not felt, especially during busy seasons. There is a huge learning curve, and a lot of technical knowledge to be gained.
Automatic promotions / increments, Decent compensation, Experience
Long hours, Lack of work-life balance
They just have limited clients, no HR policies are put in use. Manager is everything, the resources are hired just for billing purpose. Just another consultancy, never fall in the so called big 4 trap.
Working at EY since 3 years and never felt any negativity about the organization. EY gives a good platform for Learn and also pays well as compared to other peer companies. Very good work life balance.
Work from home, Great health insurance benefits, Better career prospects.
You will get addicted to this organization culture.
Dont have much work as what they showcase on team meetings, need management to have skilled personnels that can lead team well and train, groom them so they can bring and perform better infront of clients. Treat and consider employees with transparency on pay scale and designations while hiring. HR really need to improve their induction and onboarding process
EY GDS one of the worst company to work . Be ready to loose your mental health if you are willing to join this company . Lots of work pressure they treat employees like slaves . Management is useless and dumb people . Never recommend any one to work for this company
Mental health issues, you start hating your job and profession if you start working here.
I enjoyed my tenure here! It's a very nice firm with relaxed work environment! People are respected a lot and encouraged. The work life balance is also kind of good!

Good to start for a career. Since it is service based industry that offers various services to its clients, the organization is process oriented. You are part of one activity in the entire process cycle, then the data is provided to other teams to perform other tasks. You might come across some bias which is common. Focus on your work and learning opportunities.
May encounter bias from seniors at times
The workplace culture is very stressful and there is a lot of competitiveness among peers. There is a lot of client interaction that is helpful in building client rapport.
After joining initially I have faced some problem because they won’t give training for new employ for new tool. You have to learn on your own or you can ask to other senior if you get any difficulty but after learning the tool and work process I enjoyed a lot. Work culture is too good. Manager is so friendly and supportive, once you prove yourself you would not face any problem.
You can do work from home 10-12 days in a month.
Cab facility is poor
EY is a kind of workplace which brings best out of an individual. It not only helps the candidate to be in sync with industry standards but also helps him/her grow professionally.
Professionalism and Teaming
Salary and perks are not upto industry standards
In the beginning they say we need to extend and work during business which is supposed to be for 3 months in a year. However, as per my experience busy season never ended. Every day we used to stretch back and work till 11 pm . No fun, poor management. I dont know about other teams but GDS Immigration is very bad especially for female candidates
work from home 2 days a week
Very very long hours
