Bad Culture, most colleagues are rude, unfriendly, even you say Good Morning or Hello to them , they will look at you rudely, if someone is behind you when you opening the door and you push the door for them they won’t say Thank You not even look at you.No team spirit teammate won't talk to you even for one sentence , don't teach you, don't help you, just give you an example and ask u just to follow it but then that example is wrong, they afraid that you will replace them so they wants you to perform bad and get rid of you so that they can keep their job so that's why they won't provide proper training, even i raise this issue to HR when i leave , the HR said my grade which is AVP which is not junior and won't require any training or any guidance , I think even CEO when they first arrive in a new job they needs people to tell them whats the situation in the company. Managers won't talk to u at all and see how u get on with the job or what u want. Bad people - most of the teammates are abnormal, some are control freak who don't teach and totally no communication, bad attitude, strange thinking, wonder why hire most of the staffs like this, office politics is extremely serious in this company
None-worst ever working experience
Bad culture, unfriendly colleagues, extremely serious office politics
Promotional so slow if you are in operation dept, salary also below the market, about at 1~3% per year. The new come now only have 12 months salary i/o 14 salary. Maybe annual leave is the only good one for 16 days up.
No air-conditioner when OT working
It is a work place of strong Japanese management style, a place suitable for me as I lived in Japan for 10 years and is fluent in Japanese which is a plus to communicate with Japanese management.
Not too much overtime work
Very strict culture
Good work life balance place; Japs respect local staff though no trust as every key position is always by Japs. People do need to work hard because there are lots of rigid internal procedures which people do want want to change at all although not in line with market. Vicious circle created because good people do not work for long but relaxed people stay hence making the bank a dull place without lots of stereotypes.
Stable workplace; nice people
No brainer job quality but follow instructions a must
Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd is a Japanese based bank with over 1200 staff in Hong Kong.
High working pressure; long OT time

Since the most mamagement are from Japan, the empolyee need to understand Japan working cultural and enable to communciate in Japan is very imporatant. Also the most business promoting materials are in Japanese, the employee need to translate the materials from Japanese to English by themselves.
Need to OT until midnigt
I gained insight into financial market and comprehensive range of financial solutions those would help me to grow up to be professional. The 4-day treasury seminar also helped me a lot to further acquire knowledge about investment products and financial instruments from lectures, as well as group discussions with colleagues from all over the Asia Pacific.Furthermore, I developed softer, interpersonal and relationship skills from work that help communicate and collaborate effectively.
