Fun workplace

Definitely had way more fun as a lifeguard than the other positions. Good first job for high school and college students, but the heat was insane sometimes

Fun but hot

Sixflags is fun to work at. Especially meeting new people. The only thing is the heat. It could get really hot out there. There’s always water for you but it’s still draining.

It’s fun to work at Six Flags because you get to meet people from all over the world and learn about their culture.

It’s fun to work at Six Flags because you get to meet people from all over the world and learn about their culture. Six Flags is very strict with rules. The pay is not because we do not get enough hours.

Decent job

Good place to work. Work as a group. Get along with great with your co workers. Always updating rules and policies and prices Things are quick to change. You get points for doing things wrong or showing up late.. like your in school and nedd to be reprimanded

Very Nice work environment

Nice work environment, very friendly.Small and very private work space everyone i worked with was friendly and very supportive, also very diverse. Very detailed, all leads and shift managers were very nice and down to earth, it’s a really easy job, i recommend this being a beginner friendly for entry level people trying to get into customer service/customer assistance role

Workplace

This job definitely has no structure or good leadership. They have young mangers that do what they want. They lay off without warning and for weeks at a time without routing the schedule they have picks on who will work.

Meh

To be honest it sounds like a good place to work at but its not. Its annoying to come here. I've never been so stressed out at job like this. Most of the time its tideous.

Horrible experience with management

I worked at the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splash Town (Houston, TX) in the Summer of 2019. It was my ever first job, and I was hired as a lifeguard. At first it was ok, then the stress from guests and management started pilling up day after day. Eventually, I quit because I was attending college in a different city. Bad experience with bad pay. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. $8.50/h was definitely not worth it.

Overworked and no ot

Stay away because it's seasonal they don't have to pay OT.Wilk have you work longer than your shifts and get upset if you tell them you can't stay. Management sucks

Great summer job for teenagers

I worked as a cashier for the Atlanta location. Pay is a little better than what you'd expect for a theme park. Great discounts and tickets deals. Free entry for employees and 1 guest.

Six flags

Great first job. Although there’s little room for promotion. All the leads and managers are old. Low pay so this job is ideal for teens getting their first job.

Will keep you busy

Can be a fun place to work but management will tend to pick favorites in every department. Long hours, a lot of standing, and not a lot of pay for the work done. Not always guaranteed a break and bathroom breals can be scarce.

Pros

Flexible work hours

Cons

Poor employee benefits, favoritism among management

Access to park is the main perk

Good part time job for the summer if you like the park, and obviously if you have any interest in performing as a character. Consider doing this while you apply for Disney College

Fun

Always fun time fast pace, perks are great get to go to other parks and play for free. The only bad part was the temps either hot or cold but if you like people fun place to work

Used to be a lot better

I have been there awhile and watched it change over the years. They have cut so much staff, from upper management to seasonal. This does not help the job and creates more stress on employees.

Its a ok place to work if you live in Eureka.

There are multiple problems with this job. 1. heat. Its gets so hot at that to the point where you have to sit in the bathroom to cool off. 2. pay. the pay is minimum wage, which is not that bad but for the heat that you will endure it is not worth it. The job is fun once you first get there, but over time you may get bored and hot and you have to pay for your own uniform and lunch. You also may have to take the bus to get there which is kinda expensive 20 dollars a day. If your 16, it may be a of waste your time. if your 15 or 14 then I would consider this job.

Pros

get to meet new people. get in free.

Cons

To Hot, does not pay enough.

Its pretty alright. You still have to do janitors work with cleaning the bathroom and the pile of trash people make

In six flags you gotta clean up with your team with the pile of trash people make. Even if its trash stuff or your own. You gotta do almost alot and stress is about 4-6/10 with it. Its still worth it

The Coworkers are great and is a good first job expierence

Working here as my first job was fun and my leads were very encouraging and understanding. If you don't like standing all day in the sun or rude customers I wouldn't recommend other than great place to work.

Pros

free lunch

Cons

short breaks
