Welcome to First Sip - we are a new specialty coffee shop and matcha bar in the heart of Sheung Wan, Hong Kong and are looking for passionate, energetic individuals to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves coffee and matcha, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to be part of building a welcoming and community driven space.

As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, crafting high-quality drinks, and helping create an environment where customers feel valued and connected. We are looking for someone to join the team right away.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and matcha beverages to customers
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Build genuine relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace and equipment
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing duties
• Assist with stock management and inventory checks
• Contribute ideas to improve customer experience and store operations

Job Requirements

• Passion for coffee, matcha, and hospitality
• Latte art is a must (Ideally 1/2 years of Barista experience preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to engage with people
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive and proactive mindset
• Previous experience as a barista or in hospitality is preferred but not essential (training will be provided)
• Fluency in English (Cantonese is a plus)

Pay: $15,000.00 - $22,000.00 per month
