The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:
Work closely with shipping lines and internal parties to plan for vessel operations

Handle all documents and enquiries related stowage & cargo planning

Ensure vessel departure with seaworthy and safe conditions by precise vessel stowage plans

Liaise with Chief officer / Master of Vessel upon ship arrival and departure in respect with vessel operations

Solve stowage-related problems and provide professional solutions

The Person

The ideal candidate should have/be:
Degree holder in related discipline with 1 year relevant experience; or

Diploma holder with 4 years relevant experience, or

Form 5 or above with 6 years relevant experience

Experience in ship planning and terminal operations is an advantage

Proficient in MS application and preferably with experience in using SAP & NAVIS system for ship-planning function

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Good planning and organizing, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills

Initiative and customer oriented

Willing to perform outdoor jobs on shift basis
