The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent and not-for-profit statutory body which administers public examinations in Hong Kong. Our scope of responsibility extends to administering over 200 international and professional examinations. We are looking for talented people to join hands with the HKEAA family in contributing to the provision of valid, reliable and equitable examinations and a range of assessment services to meet the educational and societal needs of the community. Applications are now invited for the following post:
Duties: The appointee will assist in the administration and operation of the Hong Kong Diploma of
Secondary Education (HKDSE), including the conduct of the examinations in the Greater Bay
Area, liaison with schools and candidates on examination arrangement and logistics, recruitment of
examination personnel and allocation of invigilation duties, processing examination irregularities
and handling enquiries from candidates, schools, and other stakeholders. S/he is also responsible
for processing applications for special entry, applications for first participation in the HKDSE
examinations by schools in the Greater Bay Area, conducting testing of various application systems
under the HKDSE Examination System as well as performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
(a) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline;
(b) At least 5 years’ relevant experience preferably in education-related sector, work
experience in the Greater Bay Area is preferred;
(c) Able to travel to and stay in the Greater Bay Area at short notice, when necessary and
station in the Greater Bay Area during the live examination periods;
(d) Strong interpersonal, planning and organisational skills;
(e) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
(f) Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing;
(g) Knowledge of examination procedures and regulations; and
(h) Meticulous, mature, multi-tasking and capable of working under pressure.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term contract with contract-end-gratuity, MPF
benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts
subject to performance and staffing needs.
