Job Description

Data Platform Architect

Responsibilities

• Translate client pain-points into problem statements, gathering requirement from client business needs, design and architect enterprise data platform to create business values
• Leverage enterprise wide information assets and system capabilities to design, map, develop, administer and test data solutions for a data warehouse / Lakehouse environment with an emphasis on the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process
• Establish data management processes such as data security, privacy classification and advise our clients on the collection, storage and consumption of information in their organisations
• Provide the optimal architecture and delivery approach that will service clients’ needs with a balance of costs, capability, and risks to achieve the business outcomes
• Develop solution proposals that provide details of project scope, approach, deliverables and project timeline and solution oversight to delivery architects and teams
• Able to articulate complex architectural problems and solutions
• Possess strong critical thinking and communication skills to understand our client’s core business objectives
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Desire to work at the intersection of business, and technology
• Build and maintain complex queries, streaming and real-time data pipelines in support of data fabric and data mesh data management approaches
• Develop playbooks, standardized framework, practice guides and other artefacts that will allow our practitioners perform their work in a structured, standard manner
• Stay up to date with data modelling and data management platforms, tools, and techniques

Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Translate client pain-points into problem statements, gathering requirement from client business needs, design and architect analytics solution to create business values
• Leverage data science tools/techniques to analysis data sets through custom models and algorithms to uncover insights
• Create demo asset around identified business use cases
• Develop and manage data pipeline from data inputs, data cleaning and pre-processing, feature engineering, building models, deploying to production and improving by iterations
• Work in interdisciplinary teams that combine technical, business and data science competencies to deliver project work in waterfall/agile software development lifecycle methodologies
• Present statistically sound model validations to justify model selection and performance

Senior Consultant (Data Warehouse / BI)

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Consultant (Data Warehouse / BI).

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities related to the overall design, administration, maintenance, enhancement, testing, performance tuning, etc. for the proposed data warehouse;
• Provide advice and technical supports to the maintenance teams on the database definitions, data schemas design and subject definition, performance monitoring and tuning, security consideration, data conversion strategy, etc.;
• Design and implement business intelligence applications including data mining;
• Produce and maintain relevant documentation including but not limited to database specification, data manual and database administration manual;
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures pertaining to the management, security, and use of the data warehouse/database; and
• Deliver skills transfer and training sessions on management and use of the proposed data warehouse/database to technical personnel involved.

Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Participate in business intelligence projects, including designing and creating dashboards, reports or other data delivery solutions.
• Transform business users’ requirements into the constructive ideas for data visualization.
• Design, build and maintain state-of-the art reports via data visualization tool to empower the local team to make optimal business decisions
• Responsible for data fetching and SQL querying upon request
• Responsible for data cleansing and RPA development upon request
• Help client to coordinate the BI’s system development, maintenance and enhancements with users and technical departments.
• Spearhead ad-hoc projects such as report automation systems, dashboard creation and continuous maintenance of the data pipeline
• Supporting and challenging the Account Management team towards making optimal data-driven decisions

Job Requirements

Data Platform Architect

Requirements

• Degree holder in the computer engineering, computer science, Information Technology System, or other related disciplines
• 3 -5 years of experience in Data Platform Architect Role
• Strong competency in data modelling and architecting skills
• Strong competency in building large scale enterprise data pipelines using Data Analytics platforms and applied onto high performing data warehouses, data lakes and data hubs
• Have experience in data platform migration projects
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following Analytics technology stacks
• Data Warehouse & Modelling: Data Solutions in popular cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS), Data Lake, Data Bricks, Data Hubs, OLAP, Data Vault
• Data Management, Governance & Storage: SAS, Collibra, Informatica, Cloudera, Hortonworks Data Platform
• Data Manipulation languages: Spark, Scala, Impala, Hive SQL, Apache Nifi, Kafka
• Experience in MLOps / ALOps
• Experience with infrastructure management and administrative tools and skillsets
• Experience with data masking and tokenisation techniques
• Knowledge in database modelling and data warehousing concepts

Data Scientist

Requirements

• Degree holder in the computer science, statistics or analytics, or other related disciplines
• 3 -5 years of experience in advanced analytics delivery
• Able to articulate complex analytical problems and solutions
• Possess strong critical thinking and communication skills to understand our client’s core business objectives
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Desire to work at the intersection of business, and technology
• Curiosity to ask why and tenacity to find the root causes
• Enthusiasm for implementing machine learning solutions through extensive experimentation from prototyping to production
• Stay up to date with evolving analytics concepts and data science platforms, tools, and techniques

Senior Consultant (Data Warehouse / BI)

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification IT experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data warehouse administration using SAS 9.x, SAS programming and SAS Enterprise Guide
• Minimum 2 years of IT experiences in application development with Java, popular Java Application Framework
• Familiar with Government IT Project(s) would be advantage.
• Good attitude. Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn.
• Able to work independently.
• Excellent team player.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Data Analyst

Requirements

• Degree holder, preferably in Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, MIS, Business Administration or other equivalent
• Excellent in Excel or other analytical tools
• Experience in UiPath/Python/SQL is preferred
• Experience in Tableau/Power BI/Qilkview is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with business partners at different levels
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to work independently with a can-do attitude under a fast-changing environment
• Strong data analytical skill and able to communicate findings effectively with business partners
• Interest in continuously learning by actively seeking opportunities to enrich knowledge and new skills
• Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English
