Finance Manager Budgeting jobs in Hong Kong

Your new role

• Coordinate with external bookkeeping and audit partners to deliver accurate and timely monthly accounts and annual financial statements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate accounting records are maintained in the accounting system
• Track weekly cash flow and prepare rolling 12-month forecasts to support financial planning
• Manage and reconcile P&L forecasts, providing analysis and insights into financial performance
• Carry out cost analysis to identify inefficiencies and implement cost optimisation measures
• Monitor invoicing and collections to maintain strong cash flow and ensure timely receipt of payments
• Ensure full compliance with corporate, legal, and tax requirements, including statutory filings and tax documentation

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a fast-paced or SME environment
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, and budgeting/forecasting
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Odoo, Peachtree) and strong Excel skills
• Solid understanding of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit processes
• Proven ability to manage external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and service providers
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost control, financial analysis, and process improvement
• Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to meet tight deadlines independently.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders
