Background

Food Angel is a food rescue and food assistance program launched in 2011 by Bo Charity Foundation with the mission of "Waste Not, Hunger Not, With Love". The program rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. Following strict safety protocols, the rescued food items will then be prepared as nutritious hot meals in our central kitchens and be redistributed to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.

This position is to

Provide all-rounded supports in HR functions

Assist to instill a strong organization culture and values to all employees

Responsibilities

Participate in formulating and optimizing the Organization policies and procedures

Participate in full spectrum of HR functions and activities including but not limited to recruitment, compensation and benefits, attendance & leave management, performance management, employee relations and external affairs

Handle general enquires related to HR Policies and procedures

Handle staff issues including but not limited to work injury, disputes and disciplinary actions

Organize, conduct and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding and training programs

Prepare HR related documents including correspondence, memorandums, reports etc.

Perform ad hoc projects and special assignments as required

Requirements

Degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines

Minimum 3 years' solid experience in HR

Well-versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF guidelines and related legislation

Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills

Proactive, detail-minded, independent and good people and interpersonal skills

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing

Passionate in social service

Candidate with more experience will be considered as “Senior HR Officer”

Immediate available is highly preferred
