Job Description

What you'll do

• Daily checks and routine operation support for the laboratory system (status checks, basic housekeeping, and data logging, water sample analysis)
• Data recording, and trend tracking (run logs, key parameters, documentation)
• Assist with routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting under supervision
• Support sample handling / lab coordination as needed, and maintain proper filing and documentation
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from disciplines such as chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental management, environmental science, environmental engineering
• Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
• Good command of English and Chinese

Note:

1. Applicant may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position.

2. This is a position of internship programme of 7 months (from January 2027 to July 2027)

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
