We are seeking a creative and motivated Landscape Designer to join our in-house design team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work on a variety of public and private sector projects, ranging from conceptual design through to construction completion. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality landscape design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing statutory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design and implementation of public and private sector landscape projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Undertake a range of tasks including soft and hard landscape design, feasibility studies, design development, and construction stage supervision.
• Assist in the development of project design, site plans, presentation documents, sketches, and resolving design complexities.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project delivery and compliance with Hong Kong regulations.
• Prepare and liaise with project teams to compile relevant documents for government submissions, including planning applications and tree preservation.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and timelines in coordination with the project manager.
• Produce design drawings, project documentation, and submission materials.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction works to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments independently and professionally.

Requirements

• Master Degree in Landscape Architecture.
• HKILA professional membership or eligibility for registration is highly preferred.
• Certified Arborist is highly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ of relevant working experience in landscape architecture in Hong Kong.
• Proven knowledge of landscape architecture, design principles, and construction detailing.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong landscape related regulations, statutory submission processes, and tree preservation ordinances.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Rhino; knowledge of Grasshopper/ D5 Render/ Revit/ AI is an advantage.
• Good design, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese;
• Must demonstrate creativity, strong graphics, and good design judgment.
