Medical Lecturer jobs

Major Duties:

(a)

To perform teaching duties including delivery of lectures, tutorials, seminars and practical sessions, set and mark students’ assessments and other academic activities;

(b)

To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;

(c)

To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;

(d)

To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and

(e)

To participate in departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

Requirements:

(a)

A recognised degree in Chinese Medicine or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;

(b)

At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience;

(c)

Candidates should be registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong;

(d)

Good linkage with the industry would be an advantage; and

(e)

Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.

(2)

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
