The incumbent is responsible for preparing standard documents, handling routine legal matters, conducting basic research, providing administrative support, maintaining proper filing and liaising with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and check standard documents;
• Handle routine work such as trademark applications, tenancy matters and contentious cases;
• Conduct basic desk research;
• Provide general administrative support and maintain proper filing for internal records and other documents;
• Liaise with internal and external parties; and
• Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma Holder in Legal or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in law firm or in-house roles as secretary and legal clerk
• Experience in handling routine legal and administrative matters is preferred
• Basic knowledge of trademark applications, tenancy matters, and contentious matters is an advantage
• Familiarity with legal documentation and filing procedures is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and typing Chinese
• Good written Chinese and English
• A team player who is proactive, organized and attentive to details and willing to learn in in-house setting
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external parties
