Key Responsibilities

• Perform the pathology testing by using different analyzers, monitor the performance of the analyzers and keep the optimal condition of different analyzers;
• Review quality control for different tests before releasing the results and take appropriate action of the result according to standard operating procedure before reporting;
• Continuously monitor the quality assurance of the performance in the laboratory in order to prevent any incidents and rectify the fault before any event happened;
• Answer all inquiries from clinical area and try to solve their concerns;
• Perform internal audits in the laboratory and put forward any suggestions for continuous improvement in the laboratory;
• Monitor the stock inventory system and replenish the stock in time; and
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor(s)

Job Requirements

• Holder of a Master Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or other related disciplines
• A valid Certificate of Registration (Part I) issued by the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board of Hong Kong and a Practising Certificate issued by the Allied Health Professions Council of Hong Kong
• At least 3 years’ work experience in an accredited laboratory
  • Candidates with Bachelor Degree and Registration Certificate (Part II) will be considered as Associate Medical Technologist
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office applications

Compensation and Employment Terms

Appointment will be made on a 3-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
