Hong Kong's Tech-friendly Design Hotel Pioneer Wants You.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive training and development programs tailored to the specific needs of the Hotels and Serviced Apartment business unit.
Identify training needs through assessments and collaborate with department heads to design and deliver effective training initiatives.
Oversee the full training lifecycle, including training design, development, delivery, and evaluation.
Lead and manage hotel visits, and internship programs with schools and hotel institutions to strengthen employer branding.
Ensure compliance with training-related policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Support HACCP training execution and compliance by managing food safety training, records, reporting, and awareness across departments.
Utilize mystery shopper and Guest Satisfaction Survey results to assess training needs, deliver targeted learning interventions, and enhance service standards.
Support ESG initiatives by facilitating staff education and promoting ESG awareness.
Stay updated on the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in learning and development within the hospitality industry.
Manage training budgets, resources, and training administration tools.
Requirements
Degree holder in Human Resources, Hospitality Management or related discipline
At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Learning and Development, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the hotel or related service-oriented industry
Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies, and best practices
Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs and initiatives
Excellent leadership and management skills to effectively lead a team and coordinate training efforts across departments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
Proficiency in MS Office, with familiarity in AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot), is an advantage.
