About the role:
Food & Beverage service is a true profession that demands extensive product knowledge, engaging storytelling, and a genuine passion for hospitality. At Teak House, you will guide our members through a memorable culinary journey, delivering exceptional dining experiences with warm and personalized service. Working closely with the Outlet Manager, you will also play a key role in developing a high-performing team, fostering excellence, and bringing out the very best in every team member.
What you need to have:
- A proven track record in restaurant operations management in a similar capacity; Experience in all day dining is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build internal and external relationships
- Ability to work multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and decision making skills
- Hands-on experience in restaurant administration
- Good command of spoken and written English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage
What you will do:
- Create incredible dining journey for Members in every part of our food & beverage service
- Supervise daily restaurant operations and manage staffing levels to meet operations needs
- Communicate with the Culinary Team and outlet manager to ensure service from reservation to departure meets the Carlyle & Co. level of excellence – from food and beverage quality, to service level
- Interact with Members to obtain feedback and build positive relationships – don’t be shy, take a bow!
- Assist the outlet manager to train the team on menu items, food & beverage recommendation, restaurant operating procedures and Member service, enabling them to perform at the highest level and with the utmost productivity
- Conduct departmental briefings and meetings to maintain seamless communication with the team
- Estimate operating equipment and supplies consumption and manage the purchase within budget
- Represent the Teak House team in the absence of the outlet manager
