About Community Leap & Vessel REPAIR
Established by Community Leap Limited, Vessel REPAIR (復修號) pioneers local "Community Repair Stations" in Hong Kong. As a member of Repair Café International, our mission is driven by three core values:
Environmental Protection: Fostering a circular economy and a "Repair, instead of buying" culture.
Elderly Empowerment: Engaging a passionate team of silver-generation repair masters.
Social Care: Providing appliance repair and resource matching for grassroots families in an inclusive community space.

The Role (Project Officer, PO, 18-months contract)
We are looking for an energetic and highly organized Project Officer (PO) to join our social enterprise. Reporting directly to the Assistant Project Manager (APM), you will be the core driving force behind our daily workshop operations, volunteer mobilization, and community events. By leveraging our standard procedures (SOPs) and automated workflows, you will help popularize appliance repair while keeping our brand trusted and down-to-earth.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Community Development: Organize and execute a high volume of community repair services, pop-up events, and volunteer activities. Engage warmly with diverse stakeholders—from grassroots elderly to business partners for corporate collaboration—ensuring smooth, empathetic, and respectful communication.
Project Management & Operations: Apply strong project management skills to monitor our newly developed digital booking system and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). Gather user feedback to identify operational gaps and continuously improve internal efficiency.
Marketing & Brand Promotion: Drive marketing promotion and brand promotion initiatives to amplify our professional green image. Handle social media management by translating front-line community impact and repair stories into engaging content that connects with the public.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of solid experience in event management, volunteer coordination, community outreach, or social media operations. We are looking for a mature, independent professional who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Mindset & Soft Skills: A collaborative team player who is empathetic, personable, and highly adaptable. You value open communication, are eager to iterate and continuously improve, and are comfortable multi-tasking under a busy schedule.
Schedule: Willingness to work flexible hours (including some weekends and weekday evenings) to drive event success and guarantee public accessibility.
Language: Excellent verbal and written communication in Cantonese and English.
What We Offer
Meaningful Impact: Play a hands-on role in running Hong Kong's first standardized community repair network, blending green tech with heartfelt community service.
Practical Skill Growth: Gain valuable experience in transforming traditional NGO logistics into a modern, data-informed workflow, acquiring high-market-value competencies in digital operations.
Human-centric Culture: A supportive, collaborative environment that values empathy, open discussions, and creative trial-and-error for continuous systemic improvement.
