HKRIA is a music copyright licensing body that represents major international and local music record labels (e.g. Sony Music, Universal Music and Warner Music). Every time a radio station, a café, a shopping mall, or an event plays our member’s sound recording publicly, we make sure the artists and record companies behind that music are fairly compensated.

We protect the rights of sound recording owners, support a healthier music ecosystem, and provide clear licensing pathways for broadcasters, businesses, and event organisers.

Key responsibilities

• License Processing & Admin: Handle application forms, data entry, invoicing, payment follow-ups, and termination paperwork;
• Lead Research & Generation: Help the licensing team uncover new opportunities by researching businesses and venues that may need a music licence;
• Onsite visits: Visit premises to update status information and gather relevant details; and
• Team Support: General clerical and coordination tasks that make the whole team more effective.

Requirements

• Tertiary education (Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, or Degree) in any field;
• Preferably possess 1 - 3 years of clerical, administrative support, sales, marketing, customer service or equivalent work experience. Fresh graduates will also be considered and matching junior position maybe offered;
• No prior experience in the music industry required;
• Responsible and detail-minded; easy to communicate and work with;
• Good command of Cantonese and English required. Conversational Mandarin is an advantage.
