The Resident Architect shall assist the Project Team and the duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

– Assist the Project Team in matters relating to Government procedures, standards and the handling of statutory matters

– Liaise and co-ordinate with the contractor, the project team, and consultants (team) on matters related to architectural details, materials and workmanship, builder’s work requirements, statutory compliance and issues related to site progress

– Support the Project Architect for resolution of Contractor’s queries during the course of construction

– Assist the Project Architect team in resolving site problems and conflicts among various trades in relation to architectural matters and overall construction process

– Monitor contractor’s performance and assist the Project Architect team in preparing contractor’s performance reports

– Attend site and co-ordination meetings

– Prepare monthly progress reports

– Assist in the vetting and co-ordination of architectural variation works

– Inspect and witness site tests as required

– Participate in the weekly safety walk

– Carry out spot checking of high risk construction activities

– Carry out any other duties as and when required by the Project Team Leader and Project Architect

– Any other relevant job details as assigned by the respective senior staff and/or the project director to suit the project requirement

Requirement

– Registered Macau Architect or equivalent required

– Macau citizen is a must

– 10 years post qualification experience, site experience is a must
