The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (hereunder as ‘HKSR’) is a pioneer in rehabilitation

dedicated to providing holistic and personalized services to empower persons with disabilities,

chronic illnesses or challenges of aging to lead fulfilling lives, and to advocate for an inclusive society.

"The HKSR Jockey Club Geriatric Rejuvenation Hub" is a service unit of the Hong Kong Society for

Rehabilitation at MacLehose Rehabilitation Center in Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong Island. With

funding from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the " The HKSR Jockey Club Geriatric Rejuvenation Hub

" has begun to provide one-stop inter-professional rehabilitation services since January 2022,

providing rehabilitation short-term accommodation plans, intensive care services for middle-aged and

elderly patients with stroke or orthopedic disease day rehabilitation training, and provides

accommodation for patients with dementia.

Psychosocial Well-being Officer

(Ref: O(PWB)_GRH_AUG26)

Key Responsibilities:

 Provide rehabilitation services, self-management programs, psycho-social support services,

volunteer services, health education activities, and organize patients support groups in order to

attain personalized care and an integrative rehabilitation

 Build partnerships with other disciplines, clients, caregivers, volunteers, and peer support

programs to provide quality person-centered holistic care services

 Supervise and conduct on-the-job training for program workers and other supporting staff to

ensure service quality

Requirements:

 Recognized Bachelor degree in Psychology or Counselling

 Preferably with experience in services for people with chronic health conditions

 At least 2 years of experience in working with persons with disability, chronic illness, their

caregivers and related community organizations is preferred

 Self-initiated, independent, flexible and good interpersonal skills

 Good command of both Chinese and English
